The Federal Institute of Sergipe (IFS) has launched Public Notice No. 01/2025, announcing more than 1,010 spots for subsequent technical courses aimed at those who have already completed high school. These free technical courses are an excellent opportunity for continuous education and professional training in various areas, offered across eight campuses throughout the state.
The subsequent technical courses at the Federal Institute-IFS aim to prepare professionals to meet market demands by providing quality technical training. Classes are in-person and scheduled in morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, depending on the campus and chosen course. Lasting up to two years, the program includes theoretical and practical classes, seminars, and regular assessments.
Available Spots and Locations
There are 1,010 spots distributed among the following campuses: Aracaju, São Cristóvão, Estância, Lagarto, Propriá, Socorro, Itabaiana, and Tobias Barreto. The spots include open competition, quotas for students from public schools, and a reserve of 5% for people with disabilities (PwD).

Selection Process
The selection for qualification will be conducted by public electronic lottery, ensuring total transparency. Half of the spots are reserved for students who completed high school in public schools, in accordance with the Quota Law. Within these reserves, there are subdivisions for black, brown, indigenous people, and PwDs.
Enrollment Requirements
To enroll in the free technical courses, the candidate must have completed high school and present documents such as CPF, ID, and academic transcript. It is important to pay attention to the choice of course, campus, and shift at the time of enrollment, as changes will not be allowed after the deadline.
