In the new decree signed this Sunday (22), Mayor Dr. Aluƭzio determined the suspension of all commercial activities in the city, including the onshore and banking sector, and creates a sanitary barrier in all accesses to the municipality of MacaƩ as a result of the coronavirus.

Last week, in a press conference held on the morning of Tuesday, 17, in the auditorium of Cidade UniversitƔria on the Coronavirus, the mayor of MacaƩ, Dr. Aluizio (PSDB), informed that he would sign a new decree with measures to prevent the coronavirus, limiting the execution of activities involving onshore oil and gas in MacaƩ.

According to him, among other things, the decree will suspend the entry of tourist buses in MacaĆ© for 30 days, a measure that the city hall believes to be one of the ways to prevent the contagion of the disease, which claimed the first fatality in Brazil on Tuesday, State of SĆ£o Paulo, which has the highest number of confirmed cases in the country.
