The free courses aim to promote healthier and more accessible eating, focusing on culinary techniques that make the most of food. This initiative is the result of a partnership with the company Festpan and other local entities, at no cost to public funds, and also seeks to stimulate the local economy through professional qualification.

With the Eat Well Program, the City Hall and SESI are bringing a set of short courses, each with a duration of three hours, covering specific topics to facilitate learning and ensure that students leave ready to apply new techniques. Among the courses, there are options for those who want to learn how to make desserts, pies, cakes, and even prepare for year-end celebrations.

The Mobile Unit of SESI, where the courses will be held, is located at the company Festpan, situated on Rodovia Geraldo Scavone, in Jardim Califórnia. Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis, and each course accommodates 30 students. Any resident of Jacareí, aged 14 and older, can register, even for more than one course, increasing the chances of diversifying their culinary knowledge.
