The Contests in the Federal District Currently Have 39 Open Positions and More Than 210,000 Planned
The Federal District is the location in the country with the highest proportion and distribution of active employees in the population. Currently, the capital has several contests, both open and authorized, for candidates to prepare for a public career. There are 39 open positions and more than 210,000 planned in the Ministry of Economy, Ibama, IBGE, PGDF, civil police, and much more.

Ministry of Economy Contest
The government published last Friday the announcement from the Ministry of Economy for filling 39 temporary positions – this is the second selection initiated by the ministry in the second semester. There are opportunities for graduates in law (37) and archival science (2), with an initial salary of R$ 6,130.

Conter DF Contest
The realization of the new Conter DF contest (National Council of Radiology Technicians) is still on the agenda. Although the date for the publication of the announcement of registration openings has not yet been defined, the expectation is that the release will not take long, as there is already a signed contract with the organizing body, which will be Instituto Quadrix.
Ibama Contest
Due to the significant focus of wildfires in the Amazon region, which has been making headlines worldwide in recent days, a new Ibama contest – Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources – was authorized on August 23 by the president of the agency, Luis Carlos Hiromi Nagão.
IBGE Contest
The new IBGE contest (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) for temporary hires, which started in the first semester and had registrations suspended due to the health crisis, is indeed set to restart in 2021.
PGDF Contest
The PGDF (Attorney General’s Office of the Federal District) for the position of attorney already has a committee formed. In total, the selection will have 65 immediate openings.
PC DF Contest
With the publication of the announcement for clerk positions, a new PC DF contest (Civil Police of the Federal District) should begin soon. In addition to the 300 positions already offered, the agency has another 1,800 authorized.
Senate Federal Contest
The anticipated Senate Federal contest, even after having its committee disbanded on August 26 by the house president, Davi Alcolumbre, remains on the agenda. The selection just had another confirmation that it will indeed take place, at the latest, during 2021.
