Inauguration of Distribution Center in Contagem Aims to Meet Growing Demand
Dicomp, one of the leaders in the Brazilian market for integrated solar energy, telecommunications, industrial automation, and electronic security solutions, has just inaugurated its latest distribution center in the city of Contagem, Minas Gerais.
With 3,000 m² of area and capacity to serve the entire state, this new facility is part of the company’s expansion plan and promises to bring greater competitiveness to resellers in the telecommunications, security, and solar energy markets.
Founded in Maringá, Paraná, Dicomp is celebrating 25 years of existence in 2023. The company began its operations as a local distributor of telecommunications components and has since expanded its operations into other segments, such as solar energy, electronic security, and industrial automation.

Dicomp also has a presence in two other countries, China and Paraguay, in addition to another distribution center in Itajaí, Santa Catarina, serving the entire national territory.
Contagem and Its Strategic and Tax Advantages
The choice of Contagem as the location for the new distribution center was motivated by tax advantages and the growth of the city, which remains the third-largest economy in Minas Gerais and the second-largest job creator in the state. The city shows great investment potential for 2023, according to data from the local government.
Filipe Favoto, CEO of Dicomp, states that the new distribution center in Minas Gerais solidifies the company’s intention to provide increasingly efficient service to customers, seeking logistical and tax solutions in strategic regions of Brazil. Before the inauguration, the company already served about 300 integrators (customers) in the Minas territory, and the expectation is that this number will double by the end of the year with the new structure.
The executive also highlights that Minas Gerais currently ranks sixth within the company and estimates that by the end of the year, it will become the third state in sales for Dicomp, representing around 10% of the company’s sales. To achieve this goal, the company has already invested over R$20 million in telecommunications and energy items, in addition to hiring professionals in the commercial and logistics areas to ensure excellent service in the state.
Currently, Dicomp has 165 employees at its main headquarters in Maringá and expects to increase this number with the new structure in Minas Gerais, consolidating its market presence and strengthening its position as one of the main distributors in the country.
