The weekly observation of diesel prices, from 09/10/2023 to 09/23/2023, revealed trends and variations that can impact consumers’ wallets and companies’ operational costs. A thorough appreciation of these fluctuations becomes essential, considering that even the smallest changes can have significant consequences.
Notable Fluctuations in the National Scenario
In the capital Macapá, the price of diesel S10 increased by 2.87%, reaching R$ 6.80, while regular diesel saw a drop of 13.83%, settling at R$ 6.17. Ricardo Henrique, data analyst at IPTC, emphasizes the stability observed in diesel prices last week, even with the upward trend still evident. He predicts: “This stability in certain regions may continue in the coming weeks, easing concerns about significant jumps in fuel prices, such as those recently announced by Petrobras. However, the lack of complete data limited a full analysis of all capitals.”
