Announcement Of The 2023 RJ Firefighter Contest With A Salary Of Up To R$5,056.00

The Opening of the New Firefighters RJ 2023 Contest (CBMERJ) Has Been Announced. The Agency Released the New Selection Criteria for 800 Vacancies in Two Professions in the Official Federal Gazette on the Morning of Thursday, January 19.

The 800 vacancies are for entry into the positions of 670 vacancies in the Soldier Training Course and 130 vacancies for the Military Music Sergeant Training Course. The authorization for the Firefighters RJ 2023 Contest was published in the Official Federal Gazette on July 8, 2022. In August, the Universal Institute for Social Development (IUDS) was designated as responsible for the competition.

Registrations start on January 23 and go until March 12. The tests will be conducted on the scheduled date of April 30. Of the total vacancies, 20% will be reserved for black and indigenous candidates, and another 10% will be reserved for candidates with financial difficulties, who will be certified by registration in the federal government’s single registry – CadÚnico.

Requirements to Participate in the Firefighters RJ 2023 Contest

To assume the positions in the Firefighters RJ 2023 Contest, the candidate must prove:

·         Be Brazilian;

·         Be at least 18 years old at the time of appointment and up to 32 years old on the day registration opens;

·         If male, be a reservist of the Armed Forces or holder of the Certificate of Exemption from Incorporation;

·         Be up to date with their electoral obligations;

·         Have completed high school or technical education and also have a driver’s license (according to the specialty);

·         Possess the documents proving education and requirements required for the position and qualifications;

·         Have the physical and technical capacity required to perform the duties of the position;

·         Not be subject to exclusion proceedings or have been excluded or dismissed for disciplinary reasons from any military institution;

·         Not have been convicted of a crime or misdemeanor.

Salary of the Firefighters RJ 2023 Contest

The salary of a private soldier is R$ 2,791.72 and of a third sergeant R$ 5,056.46. The mentioned amounts do not include the professional qualification bonus, which will be added to the salary after the completion of the training course.

Registrations

Registrations for the Firefighters RJ 2023 Contest must be made online, by clicking here, between January 23 and March 12, 2023. A registration fee of R$ 61.50 will be charged. Candidates will be evaluated in several stages, including: Knowledge tests, which are classificatory and eliminatory; Physical fitness test, elimination; Specific skills test by knockout or by knockout and qualification, when applicable; health examination, exclusionary; Document review, nature of exclusion. The objective test will take place on April 30, 2023, at 9 a.m. at the location announced on April 20.

·         15 questions of Portuguese language;

·         15 questions of logical reasoning

·         30 questions of specific knowledge of the specialty.

The TAF will consist of the following exercises:

·         Pull-ups/isometric arms on the fixed bar;

·         Trunk flexion (abdominal);

·         2,400 meter run;

·         Swimming.
