To Continue Receiving Bolsa Família 2025, Beneficiaries Must Meet Specific Rules and Update Their Information

The Bolsa Família 2025 remains one of Brazil’s most important social programs, providing financial assistance to millions of families in vulnerable situations. With new rules, requirements for updating registries, and technological advancements, understanding how the program works is essential to ensure continued access to benefits.

Basic Rules of Bolsa Família 2025

Beneficiaries need to meet conditionalities in the areas of education and health. Children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 must attend school regularly, with a minimum attendance of 85%.

As for health, pregnant women must undergo prenatal exams, and children need to be up to date with vaccinations. These requirements are essential to keep the benefit active.

Single Registry

The Single Registry (CadÚnico) is essential for accessing and remaining in Bolsa Família. Changes such as the birth of a child, change of address, or income must be reported to the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) immediately. Outdated information may lead to the blocking or cancellation of benefits.

Digital Scams

Fraud involving social benefits continues to be a problem. Beneficiaries should avoid sharing personal data, such as passwords or NIS numbers, with third parties.

The Federal Government does not request confidential information or payments through messages or phone calls.

Always use the official channels of the Caixa Econômica Federal or the Ministry of Social Development for inquiries or updates.

Biometrics

One of the major innovations of Bolsa Família is the implementation of the biometric system. This feature ensures that only legitimate beneficiaries receive payments, reducing fraud.

Biometric registration can be done at service centers and is essential for enhancing the program’s security.

With these changes, Bolsa Família reinforces its commitment to social assistance and the security of Brazilian families, modernizing access and reducing fraud.
