Responsibilities of the Energy Management Engineer
The selected engineer will be responsible for planning, analyzing, and implementing strategies for managing energy generation assets, focusing on hydroelectric, wind, and solar plants. Key responsibilities include:
Developing reliability plans and maintenance strategies;
Applying advanced methodologies, such as Reliability-Centered Maintenance and Life Cycle Cost Analysis;
Monitoring performance indicators (KPIs) and utilizing technological resources, including artificial intelligence for operational analysis;
Conducting equipment lifetime studies and developing guidelines for the asset lifecycle;
Participating in technical audits and acting in compliance with international standards such as ISO 55000, ISO 9000, and ISO 31000.
Additionally, the engineer will represent Eletrobras in sector forums, technical associations, and regulatory agencies, reinforcing the company’s strategic role in the Brazilian electric sector.
Professional Profile and Job Requirements
