The company seeks a professional with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields, willing to contribute to the efficiency and sustainability of the Brazilian energy system.

Responsibilities of the Energy Management Engineer

Applying advanced methodologies, such as Reliability-Centered Maintenance and Life Cycle Cost Analysis;

Monitoring performance indicators (KPIs) and utilizing technological resources, including artificial intelligence for operational analysis;

Conducting equipment lifetime studies and developing guidelines for the asset lifecycle;

Participating in technical audits and acting in compliance with international standards such as ISO 55000, ISO 9000, and ISO 31000.

Additionally, the engineer will represent Eletrobras in sector forums, technical associations, and regulatory agencies, reinforcing the company’s strategic role in the Brazilian electric sector.

Professional Profile and Job Requirements

To apply for the engineer position, a complete higher education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required, as well as availability for travel and field presence.

Among the desirable differentiators are:

Postgraduate degree or MBA in Asset Management, Reliability Engineering, or Projects;

Proficiency in tools such as SAP-PM / SAP 4HANA, Power BI, and MS Project;

Experience in reliability management across different generation types (hydroelectric, thermal, wind, and solar);

Technical leadership skills, effective communication, and a systemic view to operate integratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Selection Process and Guidelines

During the selection process, a Physical Aptitude Test (TAF) may be required, conducted in central cities according to the location of the vacancy.

Travel to the TAF is the candidate’s responsibility, who must present a medical certificate issued up to 30 days before the test.
