Specialized Tire Group from Rio Grande do Sul Has Investment Project to Expand to São Paulo and Other Latin Countries
Founded in 1975, Unique Rubber Technologies specializes in the production of latex items, standing out as one of the largest companies in Latin America in the rubber and tire retreading industry. The company is headquartered in São Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul, where it presents the most modern manufacturing park in the Americas dedicated to rubber production, with cutting-edge technology and optimized industrial processes. In addition, it has two own brands: Borex and Tipler. With the latter, it intends to invest over R$ 100 million to expand to São Paulo and Tocantins, for example.

According to the original article from RevistaNews, the investments aim to save natural resources and reduce transportation costs, since 25% of the raw material used in a new tire is equivalent to the retreading process. From this, the Tipler Solution emerges, which exports to the market the most modern in tire retreading, not just any mere reform. The project has been under development for four years and, in December 2020, was implemented with the inauguration of the first operation in Paraná. So far, Unique has already invested in nine Tipler Solution dealerships across the country.
The tire company from Rio Grande do Sul aims to implement another 100 dealerships across Latin America in the next 5 years, making million-dollar investments. Of these, units are already confirmed in Mato Grosso, Tocantins, Pará, Ceará, São Paulo and Santa Catarina, which will be inaugurated in 2022.
