A New High-Tech Electric Motorcycle Has Been Unveiled, Offering Amazing Speeds and a Futuristic Design That Looks Like It Came Straight Out of a Sci-Fi Movie.
The futuristic electric motorcycles have always captured the attention and imagination of speed enthusiasts. Now, a new offering from EyeLights promises to take this concept to another level. Named Rocket One, this electric motorcycle combines futuristic design and impressive performance, creating an experience that seems pulled straight from a sci-fi scene.
Rocket One — The Amazing Electric Motorcycle
The Rocket One is not just another futuristic prototype. Designed by the French company EyeLights, known for helmet technologies, the electric motorcycle boasts impressive numbers.
With 180 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,200 nm, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds.

The design is a mix of innovation and tradition. The motorcycle features a low, angled handlebar, along with attention-grabbing details such as the large circular LED headlight.
This element dominates the front of the motorcycle and reinforces the futuristic vibe, resembling a jet engine. Other technical details include high performance brakes and a sculpted seat, ideal for those seeking comfort amid high technology.
Electric Motorcycle Development in Record Time
Creating something of this scale usually takes years, but EyeLights completed the prototype in just three months. Designer Alan Derosier was responsible for turning the project into reality, even without prior experience with motorcycles.
“I decided to approach the design as I do with cars. The focus was on proportions and silhouette, creating something that was functional and aesthetically pleasing,” explained Derosier.
The result is impressive, with large batteries for robust performance and competitive range.
Range
According to EyeLights, the Rocket One can achieve up to 400 km of range on a single charge. This number places the model on par with some of the largest batteries available on the market, such as the Energica Ego+, which offers a range of up to 420 km.
However, as with many concepts, performance can vary. In real-world usage, especially at high speeds or in extreme conditions, this range can be considerably reduced.
Even so, the proposal is ambitious. To achieve these numbers, a high-capacity battery and efficient energy management will be necessary.
Rocket One and Augmented Reality

Lights for the Eyes
The major differentiator of the Rocket One goes beyond traditional engineering. The motorcycle has been designed to integrate with the EyeRide, a Display that projects information onto the rider’s helmet visor.
Launched by EyeLights in 2018, the EyeRide provides data such as speed, battery level, and remaining range, utilizing a compact nano OLED screen. Despite being on the market, the acceptance of this type of technology still faces challenges.
Although innovative, the display may be considered cumbersome for some riders, adding weight to the helmet and restricting part of the peripheral vision.
Nonetheless, the system represents an interesting step in the use of augmented reality in motorcycles.
From Concept to Reality

Although presented as “production-ready”, the Rocket One still has an uncertain path ahead. Turning such a bold concept into a viable product involves technical and regulatory challenges.
Safety, durability, and compliance with traffic regulations are just a few of the obstacles that EyeLights will face if it decides to bring the Rocket One to the streets.
For now, the motorcycle remains a statement of innovation and a complement to the company’s portfolio, which until now has focused exclusively on helmet accessories.
Growing Interest and Waitlist
Since its unveiling at EICMA, one of the largest motorcycle fairs in the world, the Rocket One has been attracting attention. EyeLights has already created a waitlist for interested buyers, showing that there is a market for bold ideas like this.
However, mass production still seems a distant dream. Creating a prototype is one thing; delivering it into the hands of consumers is another.
Meanwhile, the Rocket One remains a reminder of what is possible when design, technology, and vision come together.
And for those dreaming of riding a futuristic machine, hope remains alive—even if it may take a little longer to materialize.
