Garmin Developed A Smartwatch That Can Be Charged With Solar Power And Has A Battery Life Of Up To 2 Months. With The Use Of Solar Power, The Smartwatch Has “Unlimited Battery”
Garmin is bringing another innovative solution with the arrival of its smartwatch with “unlimited” battery. The Garmin Instinct 2 features solar charging, and according to the company, the smartwatch comes in two versions, one with 40 mm and another with 45 mm, called Instinct 2S and Instinct 2, respectively. Both versions are also sold with and without solar charging support. Additionally, they also have sub-versions with different options.

Regarding the battery, the 45 mm model promises to offer up to 28 days without solar power assistance and unlimited battery with it, under normal usage. About two months in battery saver mode without solar power, the model has no limit or date to discharge.

The 45 mm smartwatch features a 0.9-inch display with a resolution of 176 x 176. Meanwhile, the 40 mm model has a 0.79-inch display with a resolution of 156 x 156.
How Much Does A Smartwatch With Unlimited Battery Cost?
The models offer basic features found in other smartwatches, such as sleep monitoring, heart rate monitoring, physical activities, among others. According to the developer company itself, the Instinct 2 smartwatch is available through the company’s online store in the United States, with prices starting at US$ 500 for solar charging and from US$ 350 without solar charging, equivalent to R$ 2,362 and R$ 1,837, respectively, in direct conversion.
