Investments in the area exceed 13 billion reais. This year, entrepreneurs and companies in the segment project that industries from different sectors should continue investing.
In terms of clean and renewable energy generation capacity, Brazil currently has 7,5 gigawatts (GW) of photovoltaic solar energy to generate electricity, adding large factories and small and medium-sized systems installed on roofs, external walls and land (distributed generation ), responsible for more than half of the installed capacity of the Itaipu Hydroelectric Plant, the largest in Brazil and the second in the world.
