Energisa Is Increasing Its Numbers in the Renewable Energy Market and Has Just Acquired, for R$ 75 Million, 11 Distributed Solar Energy Companies from the Vision Group in Minas Gerais
Energisa will invest over R$ 75 million in the acquisition of 11 companies generating distributed solar energy through its subsidiary Alsol Energias Renováveis. The acquisition of the companies, which were previously part of the Vision Group in Minas Gerais, is part of Energisa’s strategy to diversify its business and add approximately 136 mWp to Alsol’s portfolio by 2025. Currently, the installed capacity in solar energy of the subsidiary, in Distributed Generation, is around 77 MWp.

Companies Acquired by Energisa in Minas Gerais
The solar energy companies sold by the Vision Group in Minas Gerais last Friday (28) are as follows:

In addition to the electrical engineering companies Renesolar, Carbonsolar, and Flowsolar. It is worth noting that the companies have debentures and bank debts exceeding R$ 21 million. With the acquisition, Energisa will be responsible for the operation of up to 41 solar energy generation units, and the completion of the operation will have the precedent conditions verified, such as the approval from the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade).

Energisa Comments on the Acquisition of the Vision Group in Minas Gerais
According to Roberta Godoi, Vice President of Energy Solutions, the company commenced this year with actions aimed at one of the fronts of its expansion plan.
The expansion of Energisa’s portfolio in clean sources, such as solar energy, in addition to being linked to diversification, is also an essential step for strengthening the company as a platform for energy solutions for B2B clients in the country.
Godoi is responsible for the distributed generation sectors, value-added services, and energy sales in the open market. The executive also states that Energisa plans to boost, through distributed and centralized generation projects with other energy sources, its unregulated businesses, as well as expand its portfolio of energy sales and added services.
Meet the Vision Group
The Vision Group specializes in offering and installing solutions related to energy, industrial automation, and electrical engineering. Its activities include consulting services, project management and creation, feasibility studies, and production of electrical panels with dynamism and flexibility.
The group was founded about 14 years ago by experienced professionals and has since been seeking innovative ideas to offer to its clients, in addition to constantly investing in the most up-to-date market offerings.
