Expanding Your Portfolio in the Domestic Market for Industrial Services, Engeman Was the Winner of the Bids for the Maintenance Service Contracts at the Biodiesel Plant in Montes Claros and at the Termal Pecém.

Engeman is one of the largest companies in the industrial sector with maintenance services, and on Friday (06/03), it closed two new contracts for this segment with large Brazilian enterprises for the provision of its services. The first is with the biodiesel plant in Montes Claros, located in the state of Minas Gerais, and the second is part of the Pecém complex, for the maintenance of the Termal Pecém, located in the state of Ceará.

Engeman’s Maintenance Services Will Be Carried Out at the Biodiesel Plant in Montes Claros After the Company Wins Bids for Contracts

Engeman continues to expand its business portfolio in the Brazilian industrial sector and has now successfully won two bids for new contracts in the country, with the biodiesel plant in Montes Claros and the Termal Pecém. Both businesses are for the provision of the company’s maintenance services, a national reference in maintenance and repairs in various industrial segments.

Thus, the company will be responsible for a series of maintenance services to ensure the best performance of fuel production at the biodiesel plant in Montes Claros, located in Minas Gerais. Among the services to be provided by Engeman are reactive, proactive industrial maintenance, and optimization interventions in the mechanical, boiler, welding, electrical, instrumentation, and refrigeration specialties.

Additionally, all installations of the biodiesel plant in Montes Claros, whether operational, utility, or administrative, are under the scope of work of the contract and will be part of the services offered by the company.

Finally, Engeman confirmed that the term for the completion of the contract is 2 years and is signed with Petrobras Biodiesel, which manages the site. However, the timelines for providing industrial maintenance services for the various production segments of the plant can also be extended with the signing of new contracts.

Port of Pecém Will Count on the Support of the Company Known in the Industrial Sector for Providing Maintenance Services at the Termal Pecém with a Focus on Productive Efficiency in the Complex

The second of the contracts signed by Engeman after the company won the bids was with the Port of Pecém. A series of maintenance services will be provided to the complex, more specifically at the Termal Pecém, which has a total capacity of 720 megawatts, equivalent to half of the energy generation park of Ceará, and ensures the energy supply in the state.

The structure is one of the main highlights of the Pecém Complex and increasingly requires investments in infrastructure and operational quality. Thus, Engeman will operate by offering its corrective and preventive maintenance services for the overhead cranes and other lifting equipment at the Pecém thermal plant.

The term of this contract for the completion of services is scheduled for 2025, but the company may negotiate the continuation with the port authority of the Pecém Complex. Furthermore, the contract for maintenance repairs at the Termal Pecém was closed with the company EDP, which will manage the project, and guarantees another expansion of Engeman’s presence in northeastern Brazil.

Engeman was founded in 1983 and excels in developing solutions for various sectors of the industry. Additionally, the company is one of the most solid in the Brazilian market for maintenance and operation of industrial equipment, both in maritime and terrestrial installations, focusing on the oil and gas and port sectors in the country.
