Learn How to Apply for a Work Visa and Adventure in the USA or Europe
The truth is that Brazilians can work permanently in another country in interesting fields with attractive salaries, but for this, it is necessary to have a work visa.
To apply for a work visa, the applicant must have the petition made by the employer at the embassy of the desired country. Once the petition is obtained, it is possible to apply for the Work Visa.
The Work Visa is Divided into 4 Subcategories of the American H Visa, They Are H1, H2, H3, and H4:
The H-1B Visa (specialty occupation) is requested by employees who intend to travel to the USA in a pre-hired professional role. To apply, the foreigner must have at least a bachelor’s degree in a four-year program or professional certification with specialized skills.
The H-2B Visa (qualified and unqualified worker) is requested by an employee who will perform temporary or seasonal work for which there is a labor shortage among American citizens and legal residents.
The H-3 Visa (Trainee) is the visa requested for the trainee who will travel to the United States to receive training from their employer in any area that is not their field of study or academic training. The training cannot be used to provide productive employment and must not be available in the applicant’s home country. The employer must submit a petition (form I-129) to the USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) for approval of the training. With these petitions in hand, it is already possible to apply for your American Work Visa.
If the spouse or children up to 21 years old wish to accompany the worker, the children and spouse must be mentioned in the aforementioned petition. For these applicants, the American H4 Visa will be issued.
To apply for the American Work Visa, the payment of the MRV fee (Visa application fee) in the amount of US$190.00 (Dollars) and also an additional fee of US$100.00 (dollars) will be required.
European Countries Struggle to Fill Job Openings
In Castelo Branco, there are several job vacancies available and a lack of labor to fill them. This “problem” existed before, but has worsened since the pandemic.
According to AEBB, about 4,000 job openings are available in the city. The city has joined a program created by the country to attract people from other countries like Brazil to fill the vacancies. In European countries, England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, the unemployment rate reached 4.7% in the first half of this year. The same period last year was 5.2%.
United Kingdom Also Suffers from Labor Shortage
In the United Kingdom, the lack of labor in some segments is associated with the exit from the European Union, which caused many Eurozone workers to leave Great Britain. This is the case in the meat and transport industry, for example.
In England alone, there are over 100,000 job openings for drivers, primarily because a large portion of workers in the sector who moved from the island to continental Europe have not returned to England due to the bureaucracy involved in unloading cargo.
