Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) Is Opening Applications for a Selection Process with 85 Paid Internship Positions
On the last Monday (19), the Office of the Rector of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) published a selection process notice to compete for 85 positions and form a reserve list for internship opportunities. Applications for the University’s internship will be free and will be open from April 24 to 30. The scholarship value for the internship will be R$ 787.98, and in addition, selected candidates will receive transportation assistance of R$ 10 per day.

Applications must be submitted through an electronic form where scanned copies (in PDF) of the documents specified in the notice will be attached. The University will reserve 30% of the internship positions for Black students and 10% of the internship positions for students with disabilities.
The internship positions are distributed among the following units:

The selection process will consist of three stages. They are: Analysis of the Declaration of Affidavit, Enrollment Link issued by Sigaa, and Analysis of the Academic Transcript, also issued by Sigaa.

Prerequisites Established by UFPB to Participate in Internship Positions
To compete for the University internship positions, candidates must meet the proposed requirements. They are:
- Be enrolled and have active attendance in a degree program at UFPB;
- Have a GPA of 6.0 or higher;
- Have completed up to 85% and at least 12% of the course workload by the application date;
- Have availability of 4 hours daily and 20 hours weekly in the internship shift;
- Not have participated in internships for a period equal to or longer than two years at UFPB, except for persons with disabilities;
- Not receive any other scholarship from academic programs at UFPB.
The results of the selection process will be published starting May 18 on the UFPB website, and the expected date for the start of internship activities is June 19.
