In addition to the benefits of faster connections, 6G will bring lower latency – the amount of time delay that a request takes to be transferred from one point to another – the expected numbers are around 1 TB/s, with a delay of 0.1 ms. The sixth generation of mobile networks will also aim to allow services to operate up to a distance of 10 km above ground.
