Agrotec And Smart Farming: Building A Vision Of Innovation And Technology For Agriculture Featuring David Carvalho, Founder Of Vera Cruz

Rio de Janeiro, March 12, 2021 – The Master In Management And Marketing Of Agriculture by ESPM hosts the event Agrotec And Smart Farming: Building A Vision Of Innovation And Technology For Agriculture with the participation of David Carvalho, founder of Vera Cruz in Portugal, a company that specializes in almond cultivation, renowned in the fields of Agrotech and Smart Farming.

The use of technology in the field is essential for the sector. “Agriculture has a major challenge in continuing its development,” says Jorge Dietrich, national coordinator of the Master’s in Management and Marketing of Agriculture at ESPM. “And technology, innovation, and management and marketing strategies are the pillars that will support the potential for this growth.” Here are the participants:

– David Carvalho

Founder of Vera Cruz in Portugal, a company in the Agroindustrial sector that operates in the planting and processing of almonds. Business administrator from PUC Minas Gerais, with an MBA in strategy and marketing from FGV and executive courses at IESE and Harvard Business School.

Serves as a board member and investor in other companies in the Fintech and digital sectors.

– Isabella Vasconcellos

Professor of the online course in Consumer Behavior at ESPM. PhD from ESC Rennes – Business School – France, Bachelor in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas, master’s in International Management from FGV. Master Degree in Business Administration from Loyola University of Chicago.

– Jorge Dietrich

Coordinator of the Master’s in Management and Marketing of Agriculture at ESPM and coordinator of Graduate Studies at ESPM Porto Alegre. Master’s in Administration and Negotiation from PUCRS, MBA in Management and Marketing from ESPM-SP, specialist in Management from Amanakey – SP, and agronomy engineer from UFPR.
