The Government of SP and Google Cloud Offer Free Courses in Cloud and AI to Empower Professionals in Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence, with 5,500 Places Available for Those Over 18, Including Google Certifications and Participation in Job Fairs.
There’s good news in the technology sector! The São Paulo Secretary of Economic Development (SDE), in partnership with Google Cloud, is offering free courses in cloud and AI. There are 5,500 places for those who want to train and dive headfirst into the IT job market.
The SDE and Google Cloud are accepting applications for two free courses as part of the Qualifica SP — Novo Emprego program. The goal is to train people to meet the growing demand in the information technology sector. According to Brasscom, over 500,000 new professionals will be needed by 2025. So, if you live in SP and are over 18, this is your chance!
Details of Free Courses in Cloud and AI
Two courses are offered, both focused on training in IT:

1. Fundamentals of Cloud Computing
- Places: 3,000
- Content: Introduction to cloud computing, big data, and machine learning.
- Duration: 64 hours (56 hours of technical content and 8 hours of socio-emotional skills).

2. Artificial Intelligence
- Places: 2,500
- Content: Generative AI, large language models, and responsibility in AI.
- Duration: 50 hours (30 hours of technical content, 12 hours of tutoring, and 8 hours of socio-emotional skills).
Certification and Job Fair
At the end of each module, you can earn a “skill badge” from Google Cloud, which certifies your knowledge. Those who complete the courses with at least 75% attendance and obtain the necessary badges will be invited to the “Job Fair – Opportunity Fair” in November. This virtual event is a great opportunity to secure an internship or job, with the support of Google Cloud and its partner companies.
