The Federal Institute of Espírito Santo (Ifes) launched the Unified Selective Process 69/2025 (PSU 2026), offering 779 vacancies in undergraduate courses in bachelor’s, licentiate and technological modalities. The opportunities are for in-person higher education, with the possibility of up to 30% of the workload being online, covering 18 campuses of the institution.

The initiative represents an entry point for those seeking high-quality professional training.

The programs will be offered in a face-to-face format, which may include up to 30% of the workload in EAD format, according to current legislation.

Throughout the course, students will participate in theoretical and practical classes, seminars, discussion forums, laboratory activities, and in-person assessments, ensuring a complete and integrated education.

779 Vacancies Distributed Between General Competition and Affirmative Action (Quotas)

There are 779 vacancies distributed between general competition and affirmative action (quotas). The opportunities span the campuses of Alegre, Aracruz, Barra de São Francisco, Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Centro Serrano, Colatina, Guarapari, Ibatiba, Itapina, Linhares, Montanha, Nova Venécia, Piúma, Santa Teresa, São Mateus, Venda Nova do Imigrante, and Viana. Each campus offers specific courses, with vacancies that vary according to the area and shift.

Selection Processes

Half of the vacancies are reserved for affirmative actions, aimed at candidates who completed their entire high school education in public schools, with subdivisions that consider family income, self-declaration of ethnic-racial background, and people with disabilities.

To enroll, all candidates will take a writing exam, which will be evaluated according to criteria of proficiency in the Portuguese language, text structure, coherence and cohesion, in addition to the proposed intervention. Classification is based on the score obtained, applying quota rules when necessary.

Requirements for Registration

To enroll, it is mandatory to have completed high school by the registration date. You must have a CPF, a valid identity document, an active email, and a recent photo.

Those opting for quotas must present specific documentary proof. As the registration process is entirely online, the candidate must have internet access and, preferably, a computer or compatible device to submit the files.

Registrations

Registrations will be open until October 13, 2025 and must be made exclusively through the website ifes.edu.br/2026. The registration fee is R$ 85.00, with the possibility of exemption for candidates who meet the socioeconomic criteria described in the notice. This is an opportunity to secure an excellent education at a federal public institution, with a certification or diploma recognized nationally.
