New Free Specialization EBSERH: Company Offers Thousands of Openings for Health Professionals in Several States with Scholarships of Over R$ 4,000.
The Brazilian Company of Hospital Services (Ebserh) has launched the announcement for the National Residency Exam (Enare), aimed at selecting residents for the Multiprofessional and Professional Health Area Residency Programs (Uniprofessional). The free EBSERH specialization will have a weekly workload of 60 hours and a minimum duration of two years.
Who Can Participate in the Free EBSERH Specialization?
For the Medical Residency, doctors are required who wish to enhance their clinical and theoretical skills in various specialties, in institutions of excellence, aiming to meet the demands of the health system with quality and competence.
On the other hand, the multi and uniprofessional residency programs are aimed at various health professionals, such as nurses, physiotherapists, and pharmacists, among others. Promoting interdisciplinary training and the integration of education and service, preparing residents to tackle the challenges of the health system in a holistic and collaborative manner.

For this to be possible, the selected individual must dedicate themselves exclusively, needing to not only follow the theoretical part of the free EBSERH specialization but also engage in various practical activities. As the participant will not be able to work elsewhere during this period, they will be entitled to receive a monthly scholarship of R$ 4,106.09.
Interested candidates for the free EBSERH specialization must read the announcement, have completed their degree in a course recognized by the MEC, and be duly registered with the corresponding professional council, among other requirements. In total, there are 3,846 openings available across 462 programs. Among the areas with openings in the free EBSERH specialization are:

How to Enroll in the Free EBSERH Specialization?
Interested candidates must read the announcement carefully. Applications can be made through a specific link. The selection will be divided into three stages, which include an Objective Test, which is eliminatory and classificatory, curricular analysis, which is classificatory, and a procedure for heteroidentification or medical expertise, which is eliminatory.
The Enare 2024/2025 is organized by the Brazilian Company of Hospital Services, Ebserh/MEC, with support from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, FGV. With the participation of more than 160 institutions, over 8,700 openings will be offered in about 1,700 residency programs. The tests will be held in more than 60 cities across Brazil, including all capitals and strategic cities in the interior.
It is worth mentioning that, to increase transparency, this year’s Enare also introduces a new feature: the interactive vacancy map. Here, it is possible to find all programs and filter by types of residency, program names, states, and much more.

The National Residency Exam consists of an evaluation aimed at selecting candidates for residency vacancies in the medical, multi, and uniprofessional areas. Created in 2020, the exam aims to promote equal conditions and access to the vacancies offered throughout the country. Those registered for the Enare can take the test in any Brazilian capital.
The exam is also administered in 23 other hub cities. This test constitutes 90% of the score, with the remaining 10% filled by curricular analysis. Once the final score is obtained, candidates will participate in a kind of vacancy auction. Candidates can choose which institution will conduct their desired residency.
