Federal Institute (IFNMG) Launches Free Professional Training Courses in Health, Beauty, and More! Ensure Your Qualification to Enter the Job Market.
The Federal Institute of Northern Minas Gerais (IFNMG) – Diamantina Campus, in partnership with the municipality of Conceição do Mato Dentro, has announced Notice 116/2024. This notice offers 840 vacancies for Initial and Continuing Education (FIC) courses, a free professional qualification opportunity, especially for those in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability.
Course Objective and Workload
The main objective of the courses is to prepare participants to formalize themselves as Individual Microentrepreneurs (MEI) and develop essential skills for the job market. The classes will have a total workload of 160 hours and will be conducted in person, from Monday to Friday, from 7 PM to 10 PM, with possible activities on Saturdays and remote classes on some days. During the course, students will participate in theoretical and practical activities, such as lectures, seminars, and continuous assessments.
Available Vacancies and Offering Locations
A total of 840 vacancies will be offered across various courses, all held in the municipality of Conceição do Mato Dentro. The primary target audience is individuals assisted by the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS), but if there are remaining vacancies, the general public can also sign up.

Selection Processes
The selection process will be simplified and will consider the order of application, without the need for tests or interviews. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of vacancies, a waiting list will be created. Additionally, there will be reserved spots for those experiencing social vulnerability, based on information provided by CRAS.
Enrollment Requirements
To enroll, it is necessary to be at least 16 years old and have the required education level for each course, as stated in the notice. Additionally, applicants must submit documents such as proof of education and CPF. For some courses, it is also recommended to have access to the internet and a computer, especially for the remote classes and activities.
