Requirements to Participate in the Selection Process
To compete for one of the slots, it is necessary to meet some basic requirements. Professionals with a degree recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) can enroll in the selection process. The specialization is aimed at those who wish to enhance their skills in strategic sectors. Additionally, it is important that the candidate has internet access and a device compatible with the distance learning platforms used by UPE.
How Will the Selection Process for EAD Specialization Courses Be?
The selection process will be conducted through a curriculum analysis, where the candidate’s academic history and professional experiences will be evaluated. There are no in-person tests or qualifying exams, which facilitates access for professionals already in the job market who seek a quick and practical specialization.
UPE also reserves a portion of the slots for affirmative actions, aiming to ensure greater inclusion and diversity among the selected. It is worth noting that the selection is highly competitive, due to the limited number of slots in relation to the high demand for the courses.
Where Will the In-Person Slots Be Offered?
Although the courses are offered in EAD mode, some in-person activities may take place, such as evaluations and seminars. These activities will be held at UPE’s on-site support poles, which are distributed across several cities in the state of Pernambuco. The poles include units in Recife, Garanhuns, Petrolina, Arcoverde, and Caruaru, ensuring access for students from different regions.
