Fibracem’s Factory, Located in the Municipality of Linhares, in Espírito Santo, Will Receive Investment in Its New Expansion Project
Fibracem announces that by the end of 2022 it will invest over R$ 4 million in the expansion project of its factory located in the city of Linhares, in the state of Espírito Santo. According to the company’s planning and operations director, Eryck El-Jaick, this new phase of the factory’s expansion will occur to improve infrastructure and acquire cutting-edge equipment. Investments in the Unit Will Increase Production
The executive also states that with this additional funding, Fibracem will have invested a total of R$ 20 million in the factory. The current expectation is that Fibracem’s manufacturing division in Espírito Santo will be responsible for 40% of the company’s total industrial production. The executive also claims that this should increase the number of qualified labor to work at the unit. “Still for this year, I believe approximately 15%,” celebrates Eryck.
By early August 2021, the factory in Linhares, Espírito Santo, had over 60 employees and, in fact, had four job vacancies open. Since last year, Fibracem’s unit in northern Espírito Santo, in addition to being a Distribution Center (CD), also became a manufacturing unit. The expectation is that, in addition to this amount already invested, the company will inject approximately R$ 7 million in the coming years. “With this, we will total R$ 27 million in investment in the region, as agreed with the local government,” he concludes.
