Therefore, according to the company, the electric sedan iC5 is already in the approval process, which should be completed soon. Among the model’s features is its internal space, which has a wheelbase of 2.76 m, and its autonomy, which is above the average of models sold in the Brazilian automotive industry.
According to JAC Motors, the electric car can travel up to 530 km in a mixed city and highway cycle, or up to 660 km if the driver is in a calmer driving mode, not exceeding 60 km/h.
A Power of 193 Horsepower
In addition to autonomy, the electric car from JAC Motors, in partnership with Volkswagen, will be equipped with a 193 horsepower motor and a torque of 34.7 kgf/m, allowing the iC5 to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds, a number superior to gasoline sedans present in the Brazilian automotive industry, such as the Honda Civic Touring and the Toyota Corolla, two strong potential competitors in this sector.
For comparison, the numbers are similar to the E-JS4, which has a very low price. The price announcement will likely be closer to the vehicle’s launch date, but based on the electric car sold in China, the direct conversion would be around R$ 120,000.
However, to compete with models like Renault Zoe, Chevrolet Bolt, and Nissan Leaf, the projection is that it will go into the range of R$ 250,000.

The car has a length of 3,650 mm, a height of 1,540 mm, and a width of 1,670 mm. The model has a power of 61 horsepower and a torque of 15.3 kgf/m, allowing the model to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 13 seconds. The E-JS1 has a range of 260 to 302 km, generated from a 30.2 kWh battery.
