-
Federal Institute offers more than 400 vacancies in free technical courses in Nursing, Occupational Safety, Agriculture, School Administration, and several others; see how to enroll and study at IFNMG.
In the integrated with high school, the student takes both high school and technical training at IFSP simultaneously and must have completed elementary school by enrollment.
In the concomitant modality, the candidate studies high school at another school and takes the technical course at IFSP, and must be enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year; there is a specific exception for the Civil Engineering course at the São Paulo campus, which allows entry starting from the 1st year.
In the subsequent modality, the requirement is to have completed high school.
In all modalities, there is no age limit and the places are free of charge.
Courses in Administration and IT
The network offers classes for Technical in Administration, with integrated and concomitant/subsequent versions, aimed at training for administrative routines, management processes, and support in financial, human resources, and logistics areas.
In the IT area, highlights include Technical in IT, Technical in IT for the Internet, and Technical in IT Maintenance and Support, focusing on programming, web development, and user and infrastructure support.
The options vary by campus, with classes in various cities across the state, from Guarulhos and Campinas to Piracicaba, São Carlos, Cubatão, Birigui, and Sorocaba.
The detailed Offer Map can be consulted in the annex of the selection process, which gathers the courses by unit.
Places, Quotas, and Access Priorities
Of the total 7,402 places, 4,192 are allocated for integrated courses, 3,120 for concomitant/subsequent courses, and 90 for subsequent courses.
Half of the places in each course follow the institution’s affirmative action policy, reserving spots for students who completed elementary school entirely in the public network.
There are also income, race/color, ethnic belonging, and disability criteria, in accordance with current regulations.
The competition for each course and campus will be disclosed after the end of registrations, in the candidate-to-spot ratio.
Tests, Schedule, and Results
The evaluation will be carried out through an objective test with 30 questions in Portuguese Language and Mathematics, scheduled for December 7, 2025.
The answer key will be released on December 8 and the preliminary results are expected on December 17.
The final result of the process and the conclusion of the heteroidentification boards are scheduled for January 13, 2026.
The 1st call for enrollment begins on January 15, with enrollments from January 15 to 20, 2026.
The complete official schedule, including deadline for appeals and publications, is consolidated on the IFSP selection process page.
Fees, Exemption, and Payment
The registrations cost R$ 60 for integrated courses and R$ 30 for concomitant or subsequent courses, with exemption for those who meet both income and education criteria provided in Law 12.799/2013.
The period for requesting exemption was from September 23 to October 1, 2025.
For those who did not obtain exemption, payment by GRU can be made until October 21, 2025, exclusively at Banco do Brasil, according to the guidelines in the announcement.
Process Execution and Official Disclosure
The organization of the exam is by the CEFETMINAS Foundation, responsible for the registration environment, publications, appeals, and results.
All stages, from the approval of exemptions to the final result, will be disclosed on the official channels of IFSP and the foundation.
The announcement also states that each candidate can compete for up to three course options, as long as they are from the same campus and the same modality, in addition to allowing participation as a trainee, with classification on a separate list and no right to enrollment.
Documentation and Enrollment
The mandatory documentation for enrollment varies by modality, but typically includes evidence of education, identification, and, when applicable, supporting documents for quotas and specialized assistance.
The deadlines for the 1st call are defined in the schedule, and after the campus analysis, there will be a period for data correction.
Detailed instructions on academic registration and document submission are included in the announcement annexes and will be reaffirmed in communications from each campus.
Requirements by Modality and Compatibility with High School
For the candidate intending to take Administration or IT in the integrated model, it is essential to have completed elementary education by enrollment.
Those competing for a place in the concomitant need to prove regular enrollment in the 2nd or 3rd year of high school in 2026 at another educational institution.
In the subsequent modality, proof of completed high school is required.
These criteria are verified at the time of enrollment, and failure to prove them means loss of the spot, according to the general rules of the process.
How to Enroll in the IFSP Selection Process
The enrollment is exclusively online and must be done by 11:59 PM on October 20, 2025.
The candidate needs to read the IFSP Announcement, create an account on the CEFETMINAS Foundation portal, fill out the electronic form and the socioeconomic questionnaire, and also pay the fee via GRU when required.
It is recommended to check the test location and monitor the candidate environment to see the final list of registered candidates on October 30 and the instructions for the test by December 4.
