Vale has opened enrollment for the Professional Training Program (PFP) in Minas Gerais, offering free training in partnership with Senai and monthly scholarship of up to R$ 2,120, in addition to benefits.
The opportunities cover different locations and are scheduled to begin in November 2025.
Where Are the Openings in Minas Gerais
The classes will be held in Mariana, Rio Piracicaba, Santa Bárbara, Ipatinga/Mário Carvalho and Governador Valadares.

Petrobras and SENAI join forces and launch free technology courses that pay up to R$ 706.
The program includes three main tracks: Mine Equipment Operator, Industrial Electrician and Plant Equipment Operator.
The duration is approximately 18 months, with theoretical and practical training.
The model combines in-person classes, advanced simulators and on-the-job training (OJT) activities, conducted directly at Vale’s operations.
Enrollment and Selection Process Schedule
Enrollment can be made until August 25, 2025 on the official Vale website.
The online tests will take place from August 18 to 25, followed by dynamics in September, a panel of interviews with managers, and psychological assessment.
In October, medical exams and document submission will occur.
Admission is scheduled for November, with immediate commencement of training.
The entire process will be conducted primarily online, except for the in-person stages of medical examinations and enrollment.
Who Can Participate
Individuals aged 18 years or older, with completed high school (regular or technical) and residency in one of the coverage areas can apply.
Availability of 8 hours per day and proof of vaccination against yellow fever are required.
The program is designed for those who have not had professional experience in mining. Therefore, former PFP participants cannot reapply.
Technical Training in Industrial Environment
The training covers strategic areas of Vale’s operations, including mining, plant, port and railway.
The content is structured to align theory and practice, with periodic evaluations and performance monitoring.
According to the company, the goal is to prepare professionals to work in critical operational roles, with an emphasis on safety and quality.
