A farm four times bigger than New York City has been announced for sale in the United States for R$ 430 million. Located in the state of Wyoming, the property known as Pathfinder Ranches brings together four distinct areas, occupies over 1% of the state’s territory, and maintains one of the largest cattle operations in the Rocky Mountains.
The announcement has attracted worldwide attention for its impressive dimensions and for gathering rare features: extensive pastures, rivers, lakes, a century-old history, and conservation restrictions that protect the local ecosystem. With 3,708 km², the ranch is larger than the state of Rhode Island and houses historical landmarks such as Independence Rock and Devil’s Gate Canyon.
Million-Dollar Structure and Life on the Ranch
At the heart of the farm four times bigger than New York City is the Two Crosses property, with over 10,000 hectares and a luxurious main lodge of 611 m², nine bedrooms, and seven bathrooms. There is also the Sand Creek Hunting Lodge, with six bedrooms, four bathrooms, and full facilities for life in the countryside, including a riding arena, church, workshops, and seven staff houses.

Restrictions and Environmental Preservation
Despite its size and value, the farm four times bigger than New York City has strict conservation rules. The easements prevent subdivisions, cultivation of certain crops, and industrial projects, preserving the landscape and biodiversity.
These restrictions do not hinder commercial cattle use and guarantee water use rights from the Platte River basin since 1879, an important differential for the sustainability of livestock activities, especially during drought periods.
