Firjan Senai Opens Registrations for Various Free Courses in Electrical and Modeling in the State of RJ

Firjan Senai is offering, to young people in RJ seeking support to enter the job market, three free courses for industrial, residential electricians, and modelists at the units in Itaperuna and Santo Antônio de Pádua. To train the complete professional and lead the industry into the future is the mission of Firjan SENAI. The institution provides vocational education and promotes innovation for all industries in the state of Rio.

Free Courses Offered by Firjan Senai in RJ

At the Firjan Senai unit in Itaperuna, registrations are open for the free course in building electrician and modelist. At the Santo Antônio de Pádua unit, the free course is for industrial electrician. This is a profession that can receive benefits due to the new Legal Gas Framework, which is expected to bring about R$ 45 billion in investments to the state of RJ.

The necessary requirements to register for the free courses at Firjan Senai in RJ are to be enrolled in or to have completed the 9th year of elementary school. Applicants must be between 14 and 24 years old. In addition to this requirement, applicants should pay attention to the specific requirements for each free course, as each has specific criteria.

Understand How Classes for the Free Electrical Courses Will Be Taught

Classes will take place from Monday to Friday, and schedules will vary between afternoon and evening, depending on the course. Teaching will be in-person, but with all necessary distancing measures to combat the coronavirus. Classes may also occur online, so applicants must have a computer with internet access.

The free courses in RJ will last approximately one year. The industrial electrician course available at Firjan Senai Pádua trains professionals for installation work on devices, components, and materials, assembly and maintenance of industrial installations, among other tasks.

In the building electrician course at Firjan Senai in Itaperuna, applicants may benefit in the construction sector, which is one of the sectors that hires the most in the job market. Besides contracts, professionals can work independently, creating small projects and conducting inspections and improvements in commercial and residential installations.

Also at Firjan Senai in Itaperuna, the modelist course prepares professionals to perform work in garment industries, a sector that has gained prominence in RJ. The free course turns designers’ creations into reality, taking into account ergonomics, wearability, and the drape of fabrics.
