Power Under The Hood: The 2.3 EcoBoost Engine

One Of The Biggest Attractions Of The Everest Is Its 2.3 Turbo EcoBoost Engine, The Same Used In Iconic Models Like The Mustang, Bronco, And F-150.

This Engine Delivers 300 HP Of Power And 45.4 Kgfm Of Torque, Paired With A 10-Speed Automatic Transmission.

The 4×4 Traction, With Low Range Option And Differential Lock, Complements The Mechanical Package.

The Performance Promises To Be One Of The Highlights, With Acceleration From 0 To 100 Km/h In Just 8.6 Seconds.

The Estimated Fuel Consumption Is 8.3 Km/L In The City And 12.9 Km/L On The Highway. Compared To The Segment Standard, Which Generally Relies On Diesel Engines, This Choice Is An Investment In Performance And Sophistication.

Design Thought For Comfort

Despite Sharing The Platform With The Ranger, The Everest Offers A Differentiated Experience For Drivers And Passengers.

The Model’s Rear Suspension Was Adjusted To Prioritize Comfort, Replacing The Leaf Springs Of The Pickup With Coil Springs And An Anti-Roll Bar.

The Result Is A More Refined Dynamic Behavior, Ideal For Long Journeys And Urban Routes. This, Along With The Engine’s Power, Promises A Unique Driving Experience In The Segment.

Everest In Brazil: When Does It Arrive?

The Possibility Of Launching The Everest In Brazil Is Still Uncertain.

Importing From Thailand With A Gasoline Engine May Not Be Viable For The National Market, Where Diesel Engines Are The Preferred choice Among SUV Consumers Of This Size.

However, Local Production At The Pacheco Plant In Argentina, Alongside The Ranger, Could Facilitate Its Arrival In Brazil.

For Now, We Must Await Ford’s Next Moves.

In Argentina, The Pre-Sale Of The Everest Is Scheduled To Start In March 2025.

The Official Prices Have Not Yet Been Disclosed, But The Expectation Is That Ford Will Position The Model Competitively, Targeting Directly At The Toyota SW4 And The Chevrolet Trailblazer.
