The New Plug-In Hybrid Ranger Has Been Revealed And Brings 279 Hp Of Pure Power, Surpassing The V6 Version Sold In Brazil!
The Ford has revealed a novelty that promises to shake up the pickup market in Europe: the Ford Plug-In Hybrid Ranger. During the IAA Transportation event in Germany, the brand presented the new electrified version of the truck, which delivers an impressive 279 hp, making it more powerful than the V6 Ranger available in the Brazilian market. Equipping the new Ranger, the 2.3 turbo gasoline combustion engine is joined by an electric motor to ensure more efficiency and power, according to the automaistv website.
In addition to Europe, the hybrid version has already been confirmed for markets such as Australia and New Zealand, but for now, there is no news about its arrival in Brazil. So, will the Brazilian audience be left in anticipation?
Power And Sustainability In The New Ford Plug-In Ranger
If you think the new Ford Plug-In Hybrid Ranger is just another pickup, think again! This truck combines a 2.3 turbo combustion engine with a 102 hp electric motor, resulting in a combined power of 279 hp and 70.3 kgfm of torque. With these numbers, the electrified version surpasses the Brazilian V6 version and becomes the second most powerful Ranger, trailing only the powerful Raptor.
The most significant visual difference compared to the combustion model is the presence of the charging port, strategically positioned on the side of the bed. But what really stands out is that, being a Plug-In Ranger, it can run in 100% electric mode for up to 45 km, offering a more sustainable and efficient driving experience.
Plug-In Hybrid Ranger: A Technological Truck
When it comes to technology, the Ford Plug-In Hybrid Ranger does not disappoint. In addition to being able to travel up to 45 km without using a drop of fuel, it can be recharged in about four hours, depending on the charging point. Imagine the practicality: in addition to all this, the truck can also provide power to electric devices such as tools, making it an ideal partner for those working on the road or in places with no easy access to outlets.
But Ford hasn’t stopped there. The brand also introduced a new special series called Stormtrak, which comes with 18-inch wheels and an exclusive front grille, as well as personalized interior details. A combination of style, strength, and efficiency!

And In Brazil, Where Is The Hybrid Ranger?
Despite being a significant novelty in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, unfortunately, the Ford Plug-In Hybrid Ranger does not yet have a scheduled arrival in the South American market. The truck is manufactured in South Africa, and the first units are expected to start being delivered in the Europe and Oceania as early as 2025. And prices? Well, that is still a mystery.
While the Hybrid Ranger does not arrive in Brazil, all we can do is hope that Ford decides to bring this electrified version to our roads. After all, with such a powerful and sustainable engine, it would be more than a welcome addition to our market. What do you think, should the Ford Hybrid Ranger be launched here?

Essa festa toda pra uma autonomia no 100% elétrico de Patinetes só 45 km !
Qual a autonomia combinada ?
Qual a vida útil dessa bateria, valor e como será o descarte ?
Será que para se fabricar essas baterias existe realmente sustentabilidade ?
