TST Ruling Declares Petrobras Measures Unfounded, Oil Workers Decide to Suspend Strike and Call for New Assembly
According to Click Petroleum and Gas reported yesterday (10/25), FUP had issued a strike notice to Petrobras that would halt all the company’s production starting at 0h on Saturday (10/26) if no new facts emerged, either from the TST or the state-owned company.
Well, by the end of yesterday afternoon, the TST accepted some of the improvements that the oil workers had requested regarding Petrobras’s previous proposal rejected in the assembly on September 19.
According to a video published by FUP, in which the General Coordinator of the entity, José Maria Rangel, explains that the TST deemed the increase in medical assistance for oil workers through VCMH, which limits to 30% of the funding for the working class, unfeasible.
