Natal-RN City Hall Opens Public Contest with 710 Positions for Teachers, with Exams in January 2025.

The City Hall of Natal-RN has launched a new public contest offering 710 positions for teachers, aiming to strengthen the municipal education network. The public contest, which begins with registrations on November 25, 2024, and goes until December 16, 2024, offers opportunities in various teaching areas. With this contest, the City Hall aims to hire qualified teachers to work in municipal schools and meet the educational demands of the capital of Rio Grande do Norte.

Job Openings Available for Teachers in New Public Contest by the City Hall

The public contest by the City Hall of Natal-RN offers a total of 710 positions for teachers, divided into various teaching areas.

The teaching positions are for the following specialties: 450 positions for Pedagogical Teacher for Early Childhood and Elementary Education, 60 positions for Teacher of Specialized Educational Attendance (AEE).

In addition to 5 positions for Arts/Dance Teacher, 6 positions for Arts/Visual Arts Teacher, 6 positions for Arts/Theater Teacher, 5 positions for Arts/Music Teacher, 15 positions for Physical Education Teacher, and 25 positions for Religious Education Teacher.

There are 13 positions for Geography Teacher, 15 positions for History Teacher, 15 positions for English Teacher, 30 positions for Portuguese Language Teacher, 10 positions for Libras Interpreter Teacher, 40 positions for Mathematics Teacher, and 15 positions for Natural Sciences Teacher.

Of these 710 positions, 37 are reserved for people with disabilities and 142 are aimed at Black candidates, with the remaining 531 positions available for general competition.

How to Register for the City Hall Contest?

The registrations for the public contest of Natal-RN City Hall must be made exclusively online, on the official website of the Permanent Contest Center (COMPERVE), of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN).

Registrations begin at 12 PM on November 25, 2024, and end at 11:59 PM on December 16, 2024.

During the registration process, candidates can choose between the cities of Natal, Caicó, or Mossoró to take the exams.

The registration fee has not yet been disclosed, so interested parties should monitor the website for more information on this detail.

How Will the Exams Be in This Public Contest?

The public contest of Natal-RN City Hall will consist of objective tests, which will have eliminatory and classificatory character.

The objective tests will consist of 20 questions of general knowledge and 40 questions of specific knowledge.

In addition, candidates will have to write an essay, which will have between 11 and 30 lines, and will be an eliminatory and classificatory test.

The candidates will also undergo a title evaluation, through the submission of supporting documentation.

The exams will be held on two days: January 12, 2025, for the position of Pedagogical Teacher for Early Childhood and Elementary Education, and January 26, 2025, for the other teaching positions.

The duration of the exams will be up to 5 hours, and the locations and schedules for the exams will be disclosed on the official contest website on January 8 and 22, 2025.

The answer key for the objective test will be published on the same website two hours after the test is held.

Validity of the City Hall Contest

The public contest of Natal-RN City Hall will be valid for two years from the date of its approval, which can be extended for another two years if the City Hall wishes.

The validity period extends the opportunity to enter the public service for approved candidates and creates new possibilities for hiring within this period.
