Internship Opportunity in Engineering – Costs in Taubaté, São Paulo
- Prerequisites: Enrolled in Electrical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering with graduation expected from July/2024; Advanced English; Good knowledge of Excel; Interest in the Costs area and a desire to learn about hydropower products; Good oral and written communication skills; Problem identification and solving skills; Availability to intern from 8 AM to 3 PM.
- Main Responsibilities: Support the Cost processes for hydroelectric plant products and systems; Work in synergy with all areas (engineering, supply chain, commercial, planning, assembly, etc.) to find the best cost-benefit for each project; Assist in interfaces between suppliers and Purchasing, based on specifications issued by Engineering, to obtain the best quotes and discuss possible approaches for a given solution; Support the preparation of a cost spreadsheet containing all information collected from the different areas; Assist in cost reduction alternatives by preparing studies on industrial schemes; Develop references for improving the existing database.
Internship Opportunity in Purchasing/Supplies in Taubaté, São Paulo
- Prerequisites: Enrolled in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering, with graduation expected from July/2024. Production or Mechanical Engineering may also be considered; Intermediate level of English; Intermediate level of Office Suite, especially Excel; Availability to intern from 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM or from 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday; Good relationship and communication skills.
- Main Responsibilities: Assist the supplies team in tracking ongoing purchase orders, following up on supplies, and ensuring compliance with GE Renewable Energy requirements by suppliers; Participate in operational meetings with project quality teams to report on the progress of supplies execution and align inspection stages; Keep the ERP updated, ensuring that the system reflects the correct information regarding purchase orders; Support suppliers and internal GE clients in supplier payment processes and in resolving problems in the physical and fiscal receipt of materials; Develop and update control spreadsheets and KPIs for the purchasing team; Work on improvement projects.
Internship Opportunity in Administrative Services in São Paulo, São Paulo
- Prerequisites: Enrolled in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or International Relations, with graduation expected for July/2024 or later; Intermediate English; Intermediate level of Office Suite; Availability to intern during business hours, 6 hours/day (30 hours weekly).
- Main Responsibilities: Control service invoices for entry into the system (MIGO); Carry out indirect purchasing requests for the department; Manage the balance of Umbrella POs; Request Performance Bond; Control the freight invoices for the entire department; Execute quotations for indirect materials purchases; Provide administrative support to the entire team.
