Requirements Set by General Motors for Its 2023 Internship Program
For the entry-level internship positions, GM is looking for students from Bachelor’s and Technology courses in areas such as Environmental, Engineering, Communication, Human Resources, and Manufacturing. The following courses are accepted:
- Engineering (Environmental, Control and Automation, Instrumentation and Robotics, Electrical, Materials, Production, Mechanical, Chemical);
- International Relations;
- Communications and Journalism;
- Logistics;
- Psychology;
- Marketing;
- Business Management;
- Business Administration;
- Public Relations;
- Human Resources.
For entry-level positions, it is also necessary to be regularly enrolled and with graduation expected between December 2024 and December 2025, desirable knowledge in Power BI, intermediate to advanced English skills, availability to intern for 6 hours in Gravataí, and the ability to interact with various areas and individuals at different levels within the company.
The selection process includes a digital interview, group dynamics, feedback, a final interview with the manager, and hiring. Those approved for the entry-level positions at GM will receive a transportation allowance of R$ 249, on-site dining, outpatient assistance, group life insurance, partnership with GymPass, discounts on brand vehicles, along with a scholarship of R$ 1,600.80 in the penultimate year and R$ 1,900 for the final year.
