According to official materials from the manufacturer, published in its global newsroom and on product institutional pages, the equipment was developed to remove odors, refresh fabrics, and sanitize clothes through heat, air, and steam, without relying on a complete wash with running water and soap.

The central differentiator of the AirDresser lies in the combined use of high-temperature steam, air circulation, and deodorizing filter, allowing for the treatment of clothes directly inside the equipment. In Samsung’s official specifications, the steam sanitization system penetrates deeply into the fabric, while the Deodorizing Filter eliminates 99% of common odors and the airflow helps remove dust and keep delicate items in better condition. This approach positions the device as an intermediate alternative between ironing, complete washing, and simply airing out garments.
