The government of the State of São Paulo wants to deploy 50 distributed generation plants, solar energy in the state, by the end of the current management, which ends at the end of 2022. The idea is to take advantage of idle properties and land. Installation of new solar power plants in São Paulo

According to the executive, the government has been working to include the state of São Paulo in the free market. Currently, the process is in the process of identifying the best places that have a good insolation factor and connection point, and then modeling. Companies like Sabesp and CPTM, for example, already use this modality and now the infrastructure department wants to make the acquisition.

“The idea is for us to develop, by the end of this term, at the end of next year, around 50 projects and by the end of this year we should publish the public notice for the first five, in which the concept is the use of our own properties. from the state of São Paulo that are not being used for the implementation of these plants”, he says.

Electricity expenses

Currently, the government of the State of São Paulo spends around R$ 670 million per year on electricity. The executive says that the idea is to reduce this account and also make use of those places that are unused. “Initially the plants will have up to 5MW (…) we consulted Cetesb to verify that the properties that we have already identified, if they have any obstacles that prevent the licensing of the project”.

The city of São José dos Campos, in the interior of the state of São Paulo, approved the company Cápua Projetos e Construções for the implementation, maintenance and management of photovoltaic solar energy plants, which will feed the electric bus system in lot 01 of the system of municipal transport.

The model is based on distributed generation, including electricity credit compensation management. There will be 12 articulated electric buses measuring 22 meters in length, which were purchased by the city hall in the interior of São Paulo, to circulate in the so-called Corredor Verde, which will have a total length of 25 km. The first stage will be 14,5 kilometers long and will connect the south and east regions, considered the most populous, passing through the city center.

The vehicles that will run in the city in the interior of the state of São Paulo, have chassis, batteries and systems made by BYD and Marcopolo Attivi Express bodywork. Lot 01 covers the north, west and south regions; and will house the southern section of the Linha Verde project (electric bus corridor). In the case of Linha Verde, the 22-meter electric buses made by BYD and Marcopolo, the Lot 1 concessionaire will assume the operating costs, including maintenance of rolling stock and energy, when the southern section of the Linha Verde is ready for operation.
