The Government of Maranhão Launched, This Tuesday (1st), the Registration Process for the Program “Young Work – Social Internship Axis 2025,” Which Offers Internship Positions for Students in Various Educational Modalities. The Initiative Aims to Expand Entry Opportunities into the Job Market for Young People from Maranhão, with a Monthly Stipend of R$ 600.
The State Government Forecasts That the Selection Call Will Begin in June, Based on the Database Formed from Registrations Made in This First Phase.
Who Can Register
Young People Aged Between 17 and 25 Who Are Regularly Enrolled in Educational Institutions in the Following Modalities Can Participate in the Selection:

The Young Work – Social Internship Axis 2025 Program Is an Initiative of the Government of Maranhão Aimed at the Productive Inclusion of Youth. The Goal Is to Facilitate Students’ Access to Their First Job through Experience as Interns, Promoting Not Only Income Opportunities but Also Qualification and Personal Development.
In 2025, the Program Should Offer Six Thousand Positions for the Whole State, Expanding the Scope of Action Compared to the Previous Year. In 2024, There Were 2,500 Benefited Students in 56 Municipalities of Maranhão. According to Government Data, 91 Young People Continued as Interns in Companies After the Initial Period, and 31 Were Hired with Official Employment Contracts, in Accordance with the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT).
How the Program’s Selection Process Works
The Program’s Selection Process Is Divided into Stages. In This Initial Moment, Interested Parties Only Need to Register on the Website to Compose a Database That Will Be Used by the Program Coordination Throughout the Year.
The Collected Data Will Serve for the State Government to Screen and Forward Candidates for Available Positions, Respecting Each Student’s Profile and the Demand of Participating Companies.
The R$ 600 Stipend Will Be Paid Monthly During the Internship Period, Serving as Financial Incentive for Young People to Dedicate Themselves to Professional Training.
