Federal Government Authorizes New Public Competitions, Over 13,000 Positions for High School and Higher Education Will Be Opened

The Federal Government Announced the List of New Public Competitions Authorized. More Than 4,4 Thousand Vacancies Will Be Opened in Several Ministries.

The federal government announced the authorization for new public competitions. According to Esther Dweck, Minister of Management and Innovation in Public Services, there will be 4,436 vacancies in 20 ministries, totaling more than 13,000 vacancies. The minister states that the Union Budget is expected to have an impact of R$ 735 million per year after the hiring.

Number of Vacancies per Public Competition Authorized by the Federal Government

The ministry with the most vacancies is the Ministry of Labor, with 900 opportunities for labor tax auditors. For the National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform, there are 742 opportunities available. Additionally, there are public competitions with authorized vacancies since 2020 that are ongoing, such as the National Institute of Social Security (INSS).

On the 12th of this month, the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services announced the appointment of 1,000 Social Security technicians approved in the last public competition.

New Public Competitions Will Have Announcements Soon

One of the competitions authorized by the federal government is for the National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform (INCRA) which is expected to have its announcement released later in the second semester of this year.

In total, 742 opportunities will be opened, which will be divided among the positions of administrative analyst, agrarian reform and development analyst, and agronomist engineer. According to Esther Dweck, the expectation is that the announcement can be developed and released still in the second semester of this year, with appointments taking place next year.

For the position of administrative analyst, the salary is R$ 5,212.11, for the agrarian reform and development technician, the remuneration is R$ 3,389.57, and finally, for Agronomist Engineer, the remuneration is R$ 7,296.24.

A new IBGE public competition is also open with temporary vacancies and, according to Esther Dweck, despite a new competition for temporary positions at the middle and upper levels, the demand for a public IBGE competition with permanent vacancies is high.

The holder of the ministry claims that the competition should be authorized in the second package of competitions to be announced by the Federal Government. Dweck states that, since she arrived, she has been monitoring areas that had many people on leave, at risk of retirement, and that the 2019 pension reform accelerated this process.
