Undoubtedly, the superintendent of Belém Airport, Fábio Rodrigues, explains that the mix of operations at Val-de-Cans in partnership with the federal government will be more agile with this improvement. “In the past, it was not advisable for larger aircraft traffic, such as the Airbus A330, to use that taxiway. Therefore, from now on, these aircraft can already use taxiway “C”, without their engines passing over an unpaved area,” all thanks to the Federal Government and Infraero working together, he said.

Infraero Also Accelerated The Delivery Of The Intersection Renovation Between Runways 06/24 And 02/20

Finally, Infraero also accelerated the delivery of the renovation of the intersection between runways 06/24 and 02/20. With an investment of R$ 7 million, the action will reduce the impact on the Brazilian air network, avoiding the need to close the airport runway.

“Thus, this demonstrates the commitment of Infraero and the Federal Government to maintain the excellence of the services provided. The care with public resources and dedication to the passengers of the city of Belém,” affirmed Fábio Rodrigues.
