The Kaufmann Group, leading the companies Gehaka and Kaufmann Industry, is leaving São Paulo and will settle in Jundiaí, where it is expected to generate around 85 direct jobs by 2023 at its new factory. The information was confirmed by the company’s president, Christian Kaufmann, during a breakfast meeting with Mayor Luiz Fernando Machado on Thursday (21) at the Municipal Palace. The Construction of the New Unit in Jundiaí, State of São Paulo
The Kaufmann Group has already purchased a plot in Jundiaí and will soon begin construction of the factory. “Considering that our workforce currently consists of 170 people and that at least half will come to Jundiaí with us, we expect to generate 85 jobs here,” stated Christian, accompanied by Jean Kaufmann and Carolina Kaufmann. “We conducted extensive research to find the best city to settle, and Jundiaí proved to be the perfect place for us,” Christian added.
“As I always say, a good city is one that generates jobs for its residents,” said Luiz Fernando. According to the mayor, being able to welcome a company with 65 years in the market and hearing from its representatives that Jundiaí is the best for them is very gratifying, showing they are on the right path, as they are directly responsible for the quality of the municipality.

Plascar, an industry engaged in the development of parts for automotive vehicles, announced on 10/06, at an event held in the city of Caçapava, São Paulo, the establishment of a new factory in the municipality to serve manufacturers in the Vale do Paraíba.
