According to the CEO of Ultra Group, the negotiations about the refineries so far have had no change with the change in command of Petrobras
According to Frederico Curado, president of Ultra Group, a Brazilian company that operates in the fuel distribution sectors, he stated that they are still in negotiations with Petrobras for the sale of the refineries. With the general in command, there were possibilities of changes in part of the state company’s divestment plan, where the refineries could undergo some kind of alteration that was not foreseen.

The president of the private conglomerate, Frederico Curado, said that “We have not had any signal from Petrobras in the sense of altering the course of negotiations, which are not simple, but will still take some time (to be concluded).”
“If there is a subsidy like what happened in previous years, like in 2015, we see this as structurally unlikely…in the long term. We have some important regulatory milestones”, said Fernando when questioned about the attractiveness of the refining sector if Petrobras changes its pricing policy.
