Grupo Votorantim announced that it will invest R$ 200 million in a development in the city of Paulista, more specifically at Maria Farinha beach. The estimate is that the investment will generate approximately 10 thousand direct and indirect job openings in Paulista.
In a meeting with Yves Ribeiro, the mayor of Paulista, held on April 19, representatives from Votorantim presented the investment project, which will be a real estate development that will feature mid to high-standard commercial, residential, and cultural structures. Additionally, the investment will also include a gastronomic hub.
It is estimated that the project area will cover more than 400 thousand square meters. Furthermore, the development in the municipality of Paulista will encompass a section of Maria Farinha beach. The project will be built on one of the plots owned by Grupo Votorantim that has the capacity for sustainable real estate development.

According to the Diário de Pernambuco, the first phase will begin in September of this year, with an estimated investment of approximately 600 million. The forecast is that the construction will be completed in 2025, with the final investment amount reaching R$ 200 million.
According to Renê Rocha, a representative of Grupo Votorantim, the project is in the initial documentation phase. The representative informs that Votorantim is working on executing the concrete project largely in Maria Farinha, in the municipality of Paulista, and that currently, Grupo Votorantim is in the planning and documentation phase at municipal, state, and national levels.
It is estimated that this phase will be completed by the end of this year. “By the end of the year we intend to conclude and overcome the approval cycle, in accordance with the legislation, as well as the environmental licensing of the area. From that point, we can start the construction cycle and do everything in alignment with the government of Mayor Yves Ribeiro,” he concluded.
The mayor of Paulista, Yves Ribeiro, celebrated the Votorantim development. According to Yves, the Paulista City Hall did not spare efforts to make Maria Farinha a construction site that will boost the region and enhance the North Coast.
