Coca Cola And Heineken Reach Agreement, Competition With Ambev Expected To Intensify Among Major Alcohol Beverage Suppliers
Coca Cola announced an agreement with Heineken to reshape its distribution network in Brazil, putting the multinational Ambev, the largest beverage company in the world, in a tricky position.
The agreement between Heineken Group and Coca-Cola’s distribution system in Brazil, announced on Wednesday, the 24th, ends a deadlock that has persisted since the acquisition of Brasil Kirin by the Dutch brewery in 2017.
The partnership between the giants Heineken and Coca Cola will come into effect in mid this year and will be valid until 2026, with the possibility of extension for another five years.
Analysts believe the agreement means more competition among the giants Ambev, Coca Cola, and Heineken.
