Brazilian Company Announces Its New Factory in Paraná Focused on Developing Electric Cars, Generating Several Jobs and Income. The Facility with 10 Thousand Sqm Will Have Capacity to Produce 50 Vehicles Monthly.
Brazil has just gained a new electric car factory. The Brazilian startup Hitech Electric inaugurated its facility, which covers 10 thousand sqm in the municipality of Campo Largo, in the state of Paraná, 30 km from Curitiba. At the site, electric cars, utility vehicles, and zero-emission commercial vehicles will be developed.
According to Hitech, the new factory will have the first production line of fully electric models in Brazil, as other startups have local production units, but for different models and with different techniques, being mini trucks, urban freight vehicles (VUCs), and even autonomous units for deliveries.

To reach this stage in the business, the electric car company relied on significant investment from Positivo Tecnologia, a company also based in Paraná that produces computers and other technological items.

Another partnership of the company in the production of its vehicles is with the Brazilian multinational WEG, which will be responsible for supplying the batteries and motors for the models produced at the Paraná unit.
New Factory Has Operational Capacity of 50 Vehicles Per Month
According to Hitech, the start of vehicle assembly on the new production line of the factory will happen as early as March. The first batch of electric utility vehicles and compact trucks will also be delivered that same month.
