New Electric Scooter From Honda: Japanese Company Is Focusing on the Electric Market and Introduces New Model. Honda Scooter Features Two Batteries and Delivers Up to 80 Km of Range.

The Honda CUV e:2025, new electric scooter from Honda, was officially presented by the brand on Wednesday (October 9) in Indonesia. The launch stands out for being Honda’s most efficient scooter to date, with performance similar to that of a 110 cc combustion motorcycle.

Honda Electric Scooter Delivers Range of 80.7 Km

The price of the Honda CUV e:2025 scooter ranges from 53 million to 61 million Indonesian rupiahs, which means values in the range of R$ 18,7 thousand to R$ 21 thousand in direct conversion, not considering other fees or expenses. The new electric motorcycle from Honda is based on the SC e: Concept, displayed initially in 2023.

Equipped with a 6 kW electric motor, the Honda electric scooter reaches a top speed of 83 km/h and a range of up to 80.7 km. The energy is provided by two Honda Mobile Power Pack batteries that can be recharged at two external stations or replaced.

Among the convenience features, the motorcycle includes a USB-C charger located in the console, as well as a TFT display panel that shows vehicle information, navigation, music control, and calls. The Honda scooter also features a keyless ignition.

Although it is more powerful than the EM1:e, the Honda CUV:e is still a model for short daily trips. Its alloy wheels are only 12 inches, while the weight varies from 117 kg to 118 kg, depending on the version. 12 inches, bringing a striking style.

The new electric scooter from Honda also offers, as an option, the top-of-the-line version with the Honda RoadSync Duo system. The available colors in the Indonesian market for the new Honda scooter are Stellar Matte White, Stellar Matte Silver, and Stellar Matte Black, while the RoadSync version is offered in Quantum Matte White, Quantum Matte Silver, and Quantum Matte Black.

The new launch of the Honda CUV e:2025 electric scooter, along with the Icon e:, is part of Honda’s plan to announce 30 electric models by 2030, strengthening its presence in the electric vehicle market. The introduction of these models reinforces the brand’s strategy to offer a diverse range of options to meet the various needs of consumers.

Honda positions 2024 as the year of global expansion for electric motorcycles, focusing on achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. The brand is committed to electrifying its motorcycles as a core part of its environmental strategy, aiming for progressive expansion in the electric motorcycle market by 2030.

Both models will be produced in Indonesia and subsequently launched in other global markets, broadening the offer of electric vehicles for daily transportation. The strategy with the new electric scooter from Honda includes a phased plan: from 2024 to 2026, focusing on global market roadways, from 2026 to 2030, a business expansion, and after 2030, a large-scale expansion. In this way, the brand plans to strengthen its leadership in the electric motorcycle segment.
