With Renewed Design, More Embedded Technology, and a Focus on Sophistication, the Japanese Automaker Prepares to Launch Three Important Updates in the National Market
In a strategic move, Honda unveiled three significant updates during its press conference at the Interlagos Car Festival, an event taking place from June 12 to 15, at the traditional Interlagos Autodrome in São Paulo. The highlights include an unprecedented version of the City, as well as the facelifts of the Civic and HR-V, two of the brand’s most iconic models in the country.
The three cars represent an important slice of Honda’s presence in the national market. Together, they were instrumental in the impressive growth of 27% in the automaker’s sales in 2023, consolidating the strength of the Japanese manufacturer in Brazilian territory.
Civic Debuts a New Look and Brings Integration with Google
The highlight of the presentation was the new Honda Civic, which received subtle yet significant visual changes. The front features a new bumper and more refined finishes, reinforcing the premium appeal of the sedan. But what really grabs attention is what’s inside.

The multimedia center now offers full integration with Google’s ecosystem, including:
- Nativе Google Maps
- Play Store for apps
- Google Voice Assistant, just like on Android phones
According to the automaker, the model will start being sold in the coming weeks, but the prices have not yet been announced.

City Hatchback Launches a Sporty Version and a New Exclusive Color
To attract the young audience, the City Hatchback debuts a new version, the Touring Sport, focusing on sporty aesthetics. Among the changes are:
- New Super Nova Red color, exclusive to the version
- Glossy black details, including the roof and wheels
- Engine remains the same, with the well-known 1.5 flex aspirated
The launch of the new City is scheduled for August, but, like the Civic, the price has not been revealed yet.

HR-V 2026 Celebrates 10 Years with Facelift and 18-Inch Wheels
Closing the trio, the HR-V 2026 arrives with visual updates marking the 10 years of the SUV in Brazil. The model features a new front grille in black piano, a luminous detail in the bumper inspired by heartbeats, as well as taillights with two LED bars, 18-inch wheels in the Advance and Touring versions, and a new floating multimedia center.
However, Honda decided to keep the same mechanical set that is already known to the public. The EX and EXL versions continue to be equipped with the 1.5 aspirated flex engine, while the more complete options, Advance and Touring, remain with the 1.5 turbo flex engine, a combination that delivers an excellent dose of performance while maintaining fuel efficiency.
