New Honda CB125F 2026 promises to be the most economical urban motorcycle in the category, with modern visuals, digital dashboard, connectivity, Start&Stop system, and an amazing range of up to 730 km.

The Honda CB125F 2026 was officially presented in Europe and already draws attention for its impressive numbers. With an average consumption of up to 66.7 km/l and an 11-liter tank, the new motorcycle from Honda can run for more than 700 km without needing to refuel — a remarkable feat for an urban low-displacement motorcycle.

Designed for those seeking economy, agility, and accessible technology, the new CB125F features a refreshed look, groundbreaking technologies in the segment, and a clear proposal: revolutionize urban transportation with sophistication and efficiency.

New Design: More Bulky and Modern Appearance

The CB125F 2026 has abandoned the simple style of the old 125s to adopt a more aggressive and refined aesthetic. The tank features sharp lines, and the front fairing has been redesigned to resemble the larger models in the CB family.

The optical set now uses LED headlights and taillights, with a modern visual signature. The rear end has been integrated into the back end, and the overall finishing is surprising for the category.

Available Colors:

  • Imperial Red Metallic
  • Matt Marvel Blue Metallic
  • Matt Axis Gray Metallic

Besides the new visuals, the motorcycle features aluminum passenger handles and central stand as standard, reinforcing the practical appeal of the urban motorcycle for daily use.

TFT Dashboard and Connectivity: High-End Technology in a 125

One of the major innovations of the Honda CB125F 2026 is the 4.2-inch digital TFT dashboard — a first among low-displacement motorcycles. The display is colorful and can be connected to a smartphone via the Honda RoadSync app, allowing:

  • Turn-by-turn navigation
  • Display of calls and messages
  • Music control via Bluetooth intercom
  • Display of engaged gear, fuel level, and clock

To top it off, the handlebars come with a built-in USB-C port, perfect for charging your phone during urban rides.

Start&Stop System Debuts in a Motorcycle with Manual Transmission

The major technological innovation of the CB125F 2026 is the debut of the Idling Stop (Start&Stop) system in a motorcycle with a manual transmission. Until now, this feature was exclusive to scooters like the PCX.

The operation is simple and efficient:

  • When stopping at a traffic light, the engine shuts off automatically.
  • Simply pull the clutch to restart it.
  • The function can be activated or deactivated via a button on the right grip.

This system reduces fuel consumption in urban use and contributes to lower emissions of pollutants — reinforcing the sustainable appeal of the model.

124 cc Engine: Simple, Efficient, and Economical

The new motorcycle from Honda is equipped with a single-cylinder engine of 124 cm³, 4-stroke, air-cooled, with a single overhead camshaft (SOHC). The maximum power is 8 kW (approximately 10.9 hp) at 7,500 rpm, and the maximum torque reaches 10.9 Nm at 6,000 rpm.

The transmission is a 5-speed manual and provides a smooth ride, ideal for urban environments.

Highlight: Consumption and Range

  • Average Consumption: 66.7 km/l
  • Fuel Tank: 11 liters
  • Estimated Range: up to 730 km

With this efficiency, the CB125F 2026 positions itself as one of the most economical urban motorcycles in the world. Ideal for those working in delivery, making long daily trips, or simply wanting to spend less on fuel.

Light and Easy-to-Ride Geometry

Weighing only 117 kg in running order, the CB125F is a light, agile motorcycle that is easy to control — perfect attributes for heavy traffic in large cities.

The structure is composed of a tubular steel frame, which provides both rigidity and lightness.

Suspension:

  • Front: 30 mm telescopic fork
  • Rear: two shock absorbers with 5 preload settings

Wheels and Tires:

  • 18-inch alloy
  • Urban tires, designed for comfort and durability

CBS Braking System: Balance in Braking

Although it does not come with ABS, the CB125F 2026 features the CBS (Combined Braking System), which distributes braking force between the front and rear wheels. This offers more safety, especially for beginner riders.

  • Front Brake: 240 mm disc
  • Rear Brake: 130 mm drum

For the entry-level segment, this configuration is more than sufficient, maintaining the motorcycle’s competitive price and low maintenance costs.

Ergonomics Designed for Urban Use

The Honda CB125F 2026 was designed with an emphasis on everyday comfort. The riding position is neutral and ergonomic, featuring a wide handlebarforward-positioned footpegs, and a spacious seat — all to make traffic feel lighter and less tiring.

Ergonomic Measures:

  • Seat Height: 790 mm
  • Reinforced Handles for the Passenger
  • Seat with Good Padding
  • Central Stand Included from Factory

These details make the motorcycle ideal not only for personal use but also for delivery services or corporate use.

The arrival of the CB125F 2026 raises a natural question: is it worth waiting for it or investing in a CG 160?
