Honda Sahara 300 Adventure 2024: The Most Complete Version of Honda’s New Trail. Top-of-the-line Model Features Flex Engine, Complete Equipment Package, and Exclusive Design to Tackle City and Road
The Honda Sahara 300 Adventure 2024 is the most equipped version of the brand’s new generation of medium trails, officially launched in Brazil in November 2023. With a 293.5 cm³ single-cylinder flex engine, the bike delivers 25.2 hp on ethanol (24.8 hp on gasoline) and up to 2.74 kgfm of torque, with a six-speed transmission and a weight of 163 kg in running order.
Aimed at those seeking versatility, the Adventure stands out from other versions with its taller windscreen, fairing protector, and standard skid plate, as well as exclusive graphics. It is a motorcycle designed for both urban use and trips along light off-road segments, combining economy, comfort, and safety.
Evolution and Positioning

The Sahara line revives a historic name from Honda, originally used on the NX 350 Sahara (1989–1999). Later, the platform evolved into the XR 250 Tornado (2001–2008) and the XRE 300 (2009–2023). The arrival of the Sahara 300 marked a new cycle, featuring a revised engine (SOHC and 4 valves), updates to handling, and more technology onboard.

A 2024 Toyota Corolla hybrid with only 12,500 km ended up in the junkyard, and when the dismantling staff saw the car, they were shocked because they know that this model easily exceeds 300,000 km without serious mechanical issues.
In addition to the Adventure, the Sahara 300 is sold in Standard (metallic gray) and Rally (red) versions. All share the same mechanical base, but the Adventure is positioned as the most complete option, factory-ready for long trips.
Engine, Consumption, and Performance
The flex engine allows for fueling with gasoline and/or ethanol, providing a good balance between performance and economy. Under moderate use, fuel consumption can exceed 35 km/l, reaching 27–29 km/l even in more aggressive riding.
The top speed is limited to around 150 km/h, with safe acceleration and sufficient torque delivery to climb hills with a passenger and luggage. The clutch is assisted and slipper, reducing effort on the lever and increasing safety during sudden downshifts.
Chassis and Comfort
The Honda Sahara 300 Adventure 2024 uses a double cradle tubular steel chassis, with a telescopic front suspension (145 mm travel) and a Pro-Link mono-shock rear suspension (225 mm). The spoked wheels are 21” in the front and 18” in the rear, fitted with mixed-use tires suitable for asphalt and dirt.
The two-level seat, wide and with anti-slip covering, provides comfort for both the rider and passenger. The seat height is 85.9 cm, and the ground clearance of 26.5 cm favors use on unpaved roads.
Technology and Safety
The 100% digital blackout display includes a gear indicator, trip computer, and USB type C port. Lighting is fully LED, featuring the ESS (Emergency Stop Signal) system, which automatically activates the hazard lights during sudden braking.
The disc brakes on both wheels come with standard ABS, and the set already comes factory-equipped with a luggage rack. Among the few areas for improvement are the lack of a shift light and automatic turn signal cancellation.
Price and Market
According to the Fipe Table, a used Sahara 300 Adventure 2024 costs around R$ 31,100. In dealerships, the price for a brand-new unit usually hovers around R$ 34,000, above the price suggested by Honda (R$ 28,650 + freight).
The higher cost is justified by the complete factory package, which avoids additional expenses on accessories and delivers a motorcycle ready for immediate use in different scenarios.
